She,later, was picked to act as Wendy in the Disney movie Casper Meets Wendy. After her Wendy appearance she was cast as Lizzie McGuire in the Disney Channel Original Series Lizzie McGuire, which she did a movie (The Lizzie McGuire Movie) in 2003. Later, she went into singing releasing her first debut \\\"Metamorphosis\\\" that upto this date has sold more than 2 million copies. Her older sister, Haylie Duff, is in the music group Inventing Venus. Her mother, Susan Duff, is a producer.

HOW DUMB I WAS
I'm not ashame to actually listened to
Hilary Duff years ago. Overall, my opinion is
still the same. Nobody on Earth should ever
attack any artists and their fans. All in
all, the definition of good music had never
been really objective. For that very special
reason, I believe it's okay to listen to
any artists you love.
Well, I haven't been here for a long, long
time. ISound seems to be very boring and full
of nothing but pieces of crap users.
Ok, back to the thread's title. I just
have a simple random comment to said. Nah, I
wish my username is not 'avrilduff'. I
should have known that my idol-crush on
Hilary could fade away someday. When will
ISound provide us the facility to change our
username?

No. It's just not a good idea. What's
the use of creating a new account? I'd
rather visit ISound no more from now on. But
you know.. sometimes you just think
"How's going on with
ISound?" and then you find out that
you nicknamed yourself 'avrilduff' a

Truthfully speaking, I still, will not agree
that Avril is a poser. One question, who
really is? The words like
"poser",
"sell-out", and
"overrated" are now out of the
line (of their actual meaning). The words are
now overused to describe almost every
bands/artists coming out after 60s/70s as if
"good music" is just a
fairytale and it never really exists.
As for Hilary Duff, I care less for her. Yes,
sometimes she's still good enough to be
listened to. But she's just been less

Everybody grows, they have to. This goes on
forever. Somebody named TheVampireArmand is
no exception, either.

Well, just because the majority agrees that
Hilary Duff is untalented, it doesn't mean
that she really is (though I definitely agree
that there are a lot of way more talented
artists out there). After all is said and
done, "talent" is such a
subjective object. What is considered
"talent" and what is NOT is
relative. You can spend hours criticizing
those experimental bands, but there are
indeed some people out there raving about how
genious the concept of John Cage's
composition 4'33" is.

need for a band to be original, creative, and
skilled. People who like music which is
actually bad but think it is good are just
stupid ignorant morons. The fact that a few
bozos have heard nothing but crappy Nu-Metal
or talentless Pop Singers doesn't make

saying that because a hobo on the street
believes you could make a rocketship out of
newspaper, and a Rocket Scientist disagrees,
that both people are right or there is no
truth. I've heard a hundred times (and
I'm being generious, its probably more)
music than you have. You are less qualified
to say what is good and what is bad."
But then, you think the Sex Pistols are good.
The fact that punk is wasteful as a genre
truly disgusts me. I'm very (and always
have been) happy to know that Avril was never
punk, is not punk, and will never be punk;
either it is your stereotype definition of
what punk lifestyle (and music) is and what
punk really is.

pretty much every users here. After all,
wasting your time on a Hilary Duff forum
(while you have nothing to do about her
instead of bitching her musical ability; and
other equally useless things) is such a
crappy thing. You know your music. But then
again, there's definitely no significant
reason for wandering around here. Dude, you
consider Hilary Duff (and a lot other
artists/bands/whatever) as prime bullshit.
But then again, you're here on this forum
to discuss her (although you're definitely
positioning yourself on the
"annoying" side, joining the
"pretentious" ones that think
they are walking dictionaries that can define
what good music is).

Bowie one of the most inconsistent and
always-want-to-be-a-superstar artists ever?
He keeps on reinventing himself, while
it's pretty safe for me to call some of
his late stuffs being "failed"
attempts of remarketing himself. The figure
of Madonna somewhat pops into my head
whenever I see or hear the name David Bowie
(though I agree that David Bowie is still
much better Madonna). Okay, David Bowie is
not really a poseur. But then, he is as fake
as poseurs (a nice faker, however).

I don't want to say bad things about him,
even though I "do" think that
