who would have known that 4 young cats from new orleans would come out right before the millenium and make a name for themselves and catch the whole rap game by surprise. before it could become cash-money as a unit, hot-boys were working hard in the studio putting down tracks. juvenile, b.g, turk, and lil wayne were the names they went by. soon after big tymers dropped their album in late 95-96, the hot boys dropped their own underground album called \"GET IT HOW YOU LIVE\" which was produced by manny fresh, at the time who was a up and coming producer. for an underground album, get it how u live sold pretty good around the hoods of the mean new orleans streets. in a positive point of view they caught the attention of UNIVERSAL RECORDS and were signed as a group, which actually put them over the top of any rap group at the time. in late 1999 they dropped they\'re first single called \" WE ON FIRE\" which got mad feedback from the fans, because genuinely as time went on they started to make a name for themselves. they were described as the cash-money brothers who flawed there jewelry, had a mouth full of gold, cars, money, all the females they wanted. quickly people started to follow
them and listen to their music. when they dropped \" I NEED A HOTGIRL\" was when they caught another audience of teenagers and a larger female group because they always put out music that fans wanted to here. and they were trendsetters. they wore white shirts and golds and now it seems as if everyone does that now. due to money issues with the label they split up and went there seperate ways.who would not want to here just one more track from the hotboys produced by manny fresh in the studio all together and having a good time liked they used to. but they\'ll always be the hotboyz/ c.m.b brothers.
