| The Human Echo formed in the summer of 2003. Their music has been described as an interesting amalgam of styles; dreary, haunting and swelling with colorful melodies capable of establishing a clear and hypnotizing image. With their first, full-length LP, Sonic Blanket, released in 2004 and a summer tour that same year, the group plans on discharging more "headphone candy" to the world in the next year (Scott Herald eloquently descibed the group's music in the review he wrote for the Weekly Planet.) Now, minus one guitarist but with the same, unique sound as before, The Human Echo is performing throughout the Southeast and plans on going back into the studio in 2005 to work on their second album and an EP containing songs they collaborated on with local artists.
