years of a raw energy, an explosion
of youthful, generally noisy, rock music that became known as the punk generation.Apart from the Sex Pistols
and the Clash,Ian Dury was one of the
first punk icon to colour the face
of punk community.The song "Sex and Drugs and Rock & Roll"(1978) was more
asong about punk from the time itself
by Cockney protagonist Ian Dury-one of the best known dury tracks,although
never a single. Ian Dury was partially crippled by polio at age 7,but bravely overcome this to become hugely successfully both as a singer and actor.Dury's first group,Kilburn and the High Roads,was formed while he was lecturing at the Canterbury College of Art.
