It all started as a solo project; by lead singer and songwriter Fadila.K.Paul Levis,talented guitarist and songwriter fell in love with Fadila's poetic,melancolic and pure universe and contacted her in order to offer his participation to her project...it ended up with a real artistic communion and chemistry.Beautiful songs have been created then, mixing the talents and the sensitivity of both artists.Jean noel Boissé is the last one to have joined the band, as a cello player and adds a real sensual and powerful touch to the inital duet's project.
influences are such as: Bonnie Prince Billie, Hermann dune, ani di franco, Radiohead, nick cave, joy division, Leonard cohen, queens of the stone age,pavement,kate bush...Idlewinter is an alien and deserves to be heard and discovered by an adventurous ear!
