| If it’s all in a name this kid defiantly has one. Born Marcus D. Burston, M. B. changed the meaning of his name to Musiarte Bossverso, but you can just call him M.B. Writing his first song in 5th grade molded after the Michael Jackson smash hit “Black or White”. His mother quickly purchased his first keyboard, original has a means to keep him out the streets but the hobby quickly became more than just a pass time. Then with the advent of gangster rap prevented his mother form letting him pursue his passion. Until the young artist enter high school where he found a new love for hip hop. His 10th grade year he formed a music club under the guides of his music teacher Mr. Green. Then in his written class he devised a lesson plan to teach his fellow classmates the art of rapping. The next two years M.B. would spend learning the business and homing his skill, and from his first production company. With six local artists under his wing M.B. started attacking the streets of Decatur, but wit no backing and his artist growing frustrate of paying dues. He disbanded his company and started working his solo record. When graduation time came M.B. found he didn’t have enough credit to graduate so he opted to intern at a local studio called P-Lo production. Producing a number of songs and learning the fundaments of the business, but then the studio closed to miss management. M.B. was left wit out a studio to recode at but two weeks later he would find another studio round the corner at hard ball entertainment. Where he spent there years before it all fell apart losing his album and walking away with nothing to show for his time. M.B. decided then to build his own recoding studio, which laid the ground work for Neo Genesis. The next two years M.B. would spend in a business deal with Dimi God entertainment. Where Neo Genesis would provide the music and Dimi God would be the management company, but when M.B. started playing the management role and producer he became unsure about the deal. Finally late 2003 the two spit ways, finding his self back at square one he started recoding what would be his Southern Castaway mixtape and songs for his debut album (Tormented Genius), but later that year M.B. fell on hard times, losing his apartment and his car due to his room mate’s bad decision. It would be late 2004 before M.B. would be able to make any moves in music. They say the third time is charm, so enter Neo Genesis. M.B. started recording Vice Versa late 2004 it was natural for M.B. to reach out to his old high school friend to be one of the acts off his new production company. Then in 2005 M.B. finally started working with long time co-worker Zay, and his rhyming partner Q-Slang other wise known as Solid Clay. With his new business partner Rated P.G. they plan to set Atlanta and the world markets on fire. Wit the love of his life in place R&B diva Johnea. Making Neo Genesis a house hold name shouldn’t take long. |
