Having formed in 2005 in Melbourne (Australia), five piece band ‘into the night’ are currently promoting the release of their new 5 track EP ‘The Art of Honesty’. Fresh out of Australia’s premier mastering suite the current EP has been a work in progress for the past twelve months and was recorded and produced by the band at the emerging ‘Vault Studios’.
Recently 'into the night' were featured on the Triple J unearthed website as an artist in spotlight and interviewed by Channel V. This has helped introduce the band to the general public and ANZAC Day 2007 saw the band play live to a full house at 'The Art of Honesty' EP launch.
Playing solid live shows around Melbourne over the past year has developed the group into a professional and mature outfit. Current projects include a re-mix of Panorama by DJ Mouka, web site construction, a line of band merchandise, the production of two new music videos (including one animated clip) and booking a hectic live schedule for 2007. This rapid progress has got the band members and crew inspired and confident that the year 2007 will bless the group for all their hard work and passion for their craft.
This will also be the year that engineering begins on 'into the night's' very own recording studio and all of this is becoming reality through the bands own pocket... NO record company funding, NO label input, NO producer guidance and NO management - just a lot of rock, sweat and beers!!!
When seeing 'into the night' play live on stage you may be expecting the subtleness as heard on the EP to set the atmosphere, but be assured you will be surprised! Their live show is full of energy, substance and intensity!
Blending many styles and influences from hard rock to reggae, punk to pop rock, 'into the night' are sure to get you up off your ass and bouncing around. Or at least bobbing your head and humming the words for the next few days.
