I always dreamed of having a sound system ,inspired by Saxon International and Jamdown rockers ,my friends and I would often chat lyrics on my Dad's sound system.As a teenager my Dad gave me a guitar .As i learned new chords I would often make tunes with my brethren Keith Laing.
Im my twenties I formed a Thrash/Punk band called Extortionists and played a few local Pubs in my area.
I then came to Canada and formed Jah Masai Sound system.
I have a few Dubplates from local artists ,but know me and leroy are making tunes and hope to reach out to the world ,rather than just having dubplates exclusive to the sound.
Dubwise is our direction ,as we want to spread the message of peace and love to all people ,rootical style!!! |
