James Hammontree, the founder of Local Stranger, LLC started as a song writing circle in Kansas City, MO. In 1993 copyrighted the first portfolio of solo work and began a marketing strategy for helping artists record and build a library of original material by some very unknown writers. In 1998 I met Art Kirkendoll who had similar ambitions and not to mention is a guitar wizard. We decided to put together Local Stranger band and release some material. We found iSounds to be a great place for releasing material.
Recently, Julie had mentioned that I should release on iSounds, some of my original tracks from a 1994 portfolio. So I did. All the tracks you hear are written and recorded at our home studio. Look forward to more new artists and material coming from Local Stranger Music Management in all genres. We are currently looking for artists needing material and the label industry.
