| Sydney producers Jamie Lloyd and Jimi Polar join forces for an ep of chunky nu disco and bass heavy grooves. There's definite inspiration from the likes of Danny Wang and Morgan Geist in here, but the boys bring their own style.
Jamie caught the end of this year’s European summer on invitation from Germany’s cultural organization, the Goethe Institute. During his stay he collaborated with Shahrokh SoundofK from Compost Records and played at the C/O Pop festival in Cologne, Cookies in Berlin, Mood Club in Karlsruhe and Zukunft in Zurich Switzerland.
Jimi Polar has been busy setting up his new studio in Sydney's leafy inner city suburb of Surry Hills. He recently supported Rob Babicz and James Lavelle in their Sydney shows and is working on new material for a follow up to his acclaimed "Monster Park" 12inch. Jimi has also recently completed a remix for Jamie Lloyd's "Trouble Within" album to be included in the European edition released early 08. |
