My name is Jared, and I have been recording, engineering, mixing and mastering bands for the last 5 years. I have also produced many dance artists and acts, who are available to buy on cdbaby.com (project blubook, project redbook, Papa Echo & Severn Valley Soul).
I have a Yamaha AW4416, digital recording / mixing desk, aswell as an array of top mics, for every possible instrument and vocal recording. I then generally mix down to Pro Tools, or Cubase SX, for all my post-production needs, where I have over forty grands worth of VST plugins.
I am based in the West Midlands area of Kidderminster & Stourbridge, and because my equipment is portable, I can come & record your band or artist in their natural, rehearsing environment. And also, because I am trained to do all the roles of pre and post- production; costs and time consumption is minimal, in fact I will personally guarantee that you will not be able to find recording, mixing, mastering & cd duplication from anywhere in the UK!

And, believe me, because i am trained, qualified & experienced in all aspects of musical production, you will not find a cheaper (without any loss in quality) way to lay your music down, to the justified standard you wish for.

Details on pricing can be obtained on request, but for basic, engineered & live recordings, I charge a minimum fee of £20 / hr. And, likewise for mixing, mastering & all post-production the general fee is £20 / hr. (£10/hr for first day session!!!Excluding mastering)
ie. Typical 1 track recording will usually take 3 hrs to record & engineer (with overdubs), then a further 2 hrs to mixdown (at my home studio), and upto 4 hrs for the post-production of FX finalising and mastering (including CD duplication, again at my home studio). Leaving the consumer/artist to pay for 9 hrs maximum, at a total of 9 x £20 = £180...for a complete mixed, produced & mastered 1 track CD (x5 copies included) |
