Recalling the passion and energy of singers like Tom Petty, Sheryl
Crow, and Bruce Springsteen, Jared Young brings his version of
acoustic rock to the world in full force with his latest album, So
Many Miles. Leading his five-piece band with acoustic guitar, Jared’s
new CD captures the organic sound he has been cultivating on the
West Coast since he left his home in Little Rock, Arkansas in 1999.
The album is a journey through everyday life, because as Jared
puts it: “There is nothing more mysterious than walking out your
front door everyday.” To get the organic feel and drama of his live
shows to translate to the album, Jared enlisted Veneto West’s Ronan
Chris Murphy as the associate producer and mixing engineer.
Murphy has an extensive musical past, working with such great acts
as King Crimson, Tony Levin (Peter Gabriel), Martin Sexton, Jamie Walters, and Terry Bozzio (Frank Zappa).

Jared has gained much international exposure through song appearances in independent films such as Gone But
Not Forgotten; Life, Death, and Mini-Golf; and the upcoming HBO short film Animus Road. Jared recently signed
