| Jasmine Lauren , born Jasmine Lauren Hutchinson from the Bronx, New York and raised in the home of the ,"dirty south genre", Atlanta, GA. This 16 year old songbird has been singing since before she could pronouce words and formulate sentences. Her parents belive it was due to a radio playing near her crib since she was an infant, along with her family's deep rooted musical history. Jasmine realized her talent and desire, and began to preform in school and talent shows across Atlanta. Her dream was to prefrom on the stage of the legendary Apollo in NYC, and was realized when she entered Apollo Kids competition in Atlanta where she was chosen as a runner up, to a 5 year old girl who recited the famous poem by Maya Angelo " Still I Rise". A no win situation, but winning is not everything. Understanding this and the music business Jasmine decided she loved to preform around others who also loved to prefrom, and moved on to other competitions, where she was just as successful. Jasmine's recording career began when her father began recording her at his recording studio in Atlanta. Jasmine has been invited to preform and sing at various showcase's in and around Atlanta where she has a strong supportive fan base. Jasmine is also a strong student and athlete. Jasmine has a excellent work ethic, and sings all day long.
Jasmine's bright personality, and beautiful vocal palette capitivates her audiences, and has been nicknamed." the Future of R n B". Jasmine had the fortune of meeting Slim of 112 fame, who immediatley took a liking to her and is encouraging her to further her career . We look forward to hearing more from this artist as she contiunes her journey to Artisthood.
