jack couchman was born in phoenix az on 05/14/1960
& went to his first concert at the age of 12,it was frank zappa & the mothers of invention...... after that it was all history.......
he bought his first guitar at the age of 13 & joined his first band at 15
(triad) then at 19 formed (sweetleaf) after yrs with the band he got a job as a roadie for ten years, he then meet kevin flowers a lead vocalist in phx,
and they satrted (pranxter) a few yrs of looking for the right combo they then found neil harris a bass player & he then brought chris louthan drums into the mix and the band was named black mariah™ then after a a few years of being out of the mix jack has gone solo.....
but now has started a new band called (mutopia)
with chris louthan on drums & percussion & jim stark on vocals
& keys jack on all guitars & synth guitar & vocals.....
