During the late 1980s Native American flute player Jessita Reyes won a national following for her innovative cassettes of Native flute music in addition to her music as an early member of the Native Flute Ensemble. "Healer's of the Flute" makes those cuts, previously out of print, available for the first time in more than 15 years. The "healing music" on this release reflects Reyes' distinctive musical approach which led to the current Renaissance of the Native American flute.
