Jimmie Bell, is a bass singer whose range spans four octaves plus. His vast range enables him to sing "So Low", that his voice mesmerize his listener. This God given gift has earned him the reputation of being Gospel's Greatest “So-Low-ist”. On most of his production he sings all of the male vocals and he is sometimes jokingly called, “ The Jim-tations.” Coined after the popular Motown group The Temptations.
Reverend Bell is CEO and President of Bell Recording Ministries, and owns Tere-z-ta Publishing Company, as well as a Minister of the Gospel. In addition he is a former radio and T.V. personality. He shares the Gospel any and every place he goes.
“God Is Knocking”, released in the year 2000, raised eyebrows with it début on the gospel charts at #7, in the nationally distributed, "Gospel Today Magazine"; its popularity sparked a European tour. His fourth and latest CD entitled, “Christian Experiences,” continues to soar in popularity. He has been a guest soloist on the Bobby Jones Show and BET Video Gospel. In addition he has also shared the stage with Shirley Caesar, The Mighty Clouds of Joy, Mississippi Mass Choir, John P. Kee, Yolanda Adams and many, many, more. Reverend Bell has been featured on the Fox 8 morning show and performed at The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
In Cleveland, Ohio as a radio personality, he carried the highest ratings among his peers. He has recently relocated to Montgomery, Alabama were he continues to tell a dying world about a risen Savior.
