This is a long-overdue note of praise to you for your awe-inspiring song, "This Is America Heart and Soul." As a lifelong musician and music lover, I have heard literally tens of thousands of songs in my life, but I don't believe I have ever heard one that came so cleanly from the heart or that was so flawlessly performed. Every time I listen to it, I can feel the sadness of 9/11, and the resolve to stay proud and free. I also take heart that there are Americans like you and the good-souled people thanking you for your song. I'm humbled also that you would reach out to me in appreciation for my song, which doesn't hold a candle to yours --except the candle of hope for a better world, built through the sacrifices of our brave men and women in uniform.
