Johnny Kobra was born in Sweden, started playing guitar at the age of 12 and grew up musically playing the Stockholm city rock clubs.
Moving to Los Angeles in the late 1990s, Johnny was praised for his innovative and soulful guitar work, as he gigged extensively around Southern California with the band Mother Spirit.
Influenced by classic and current rock, the songs on the solo debut THE SMELL OF ROCK AND ROLL are catchy tunes, cut with Johnny's own "guitar rock" edge.
