| Johnny No Star formed in July 2004 and has been working hard ever since , their aim is simple to fuse melody and energy into well crafted infectious songs , and bring an uplifting positive highly entertaining live show. Previous to Johnny No Star each member had being learning the trade in various other long running local bands. It was in the wake of the break up of both paul and gary`s bands that Johnny No Star was formed , they spent the first half of the year writing and recording an archive of matieral that would later go on to form the basis of Johnny No Stars Sound , after trying a variety of odd balls , weirdo`s and social misfits Stefan butler agreed to join and a few demos were recorded but unfortunately due other commitments and living almost 100 miles away Stef`s time with johnny no star was sadly short lived. Shortly after this a long time friend of Paul`s , Jon`s band had just called it a day and he joined on guitars , he recommened another long time friend and former band mate Dan to assume the role of vocals/bass. After several months of intense rehearsing and continual work on the songs Johnny No Star has reached the stage theyre at now - stage one |
