Jon Caspi plays original music that is usually described as American pop rock a la Springsteen, Petty and Goo Goo Dolls. Jon has been a mainstay in the alternative college radio and NJ/NYC music scenes. He has been the lead voice and songwriter for nationally successful acts such as Bouncing Off Bob and Boss Gremlin, had his music featured on radio stations across the U.S, in films, and on MTV and the WB. His debut solo CD, This Town, was officially released in early 2005. It has been played on over 170 radio stations across the country and received high acclaim. He is currently completing his follow-up to This Town. It will be another full length and include songs often requested at live shows.
Among many other recent accomplishments Jon was nominated for a 2005 ASBURY MUSIC AWARD, his album was voted #18 best record of the year, his song "Eight Days" was listed as the best Hanukkah song of the year by the Boston Herald, and he was identified as one of the five most talented musical acts in Central Jersey by Jetty Magazine magazine! |
