Kara is a Singer/Songwriter from the UK.
Beginnings:
Having always been around music, she picked up a guitar early on and taught herself to play a range of different instruments (8 in total) - she attributes Finbar Furey previously of the Fureys in teaching her the Tin Whistle inspiring the then 8 year old to persue her carreer.Her uncle helped her to perfect her now trademark voice and she has been performing solo since the age of 12.
Songwriting:
Although she has been writing songs from a very early age, it is in her recent album 'Pure Inspiration' that the years of hard work have finally paid off for her. Its range of music spans from blues to folk to soft ballads and back again. the track Je t'adore has received acclaim from critics and fans alike |
