Kasey chambers grew up on the nullarbour plain with her mother (diane)and father (bill) and older brother (nash).In 1976 her father moved the family to the nullarbour plain to try and earn a living from hunting foxes. Around 1986 they returned to civilisation and started the dead ringer band with all of the family playing there part in it. By 1992 the dead ringer band had made a name for them selves and was touring rural areas. In 1999 Kasy branched out as a solo artist and released her debut album 'the captain' going 4 x platinum in sales, her second album Barricades and brickwalls followed and now her recently released album wayward angel.
