Katie Ray has been singing from the moment she realized that her voice could make cool sounds. She started out singing for family and friends but made her public debut at age 5 as the youngest orphan in a community production of "Annie". While learning all the songs and dance steps, she kept up with her much older castmates and stole the show!
Growing up with country music surrounding her, she naturally fell in love with the country sound. Her listening tastes dip into many genre's but when she opens up her mouth to sing....what comes out is always pure country.
Katie Ray has been performing as a solo artist for the general public for the past 2 years gaining new fans at each performance. The latest being the Minnesota State Fair Amateur Talent Semifinals.
Katie Ray has been described as 'Unique', 'Powerful' and 'Unbelievably Talented'. The power this petite girls packs is something usually only heard in women twice her age.
