| Keith Thompson is a performer and DJ who has been in the industry for over 20 years and has for the last five years been on a productive schedule to reaffirm his place in house music history. Keith was the lead vocalist on the now classics Break 4 Love by Raze (Columbia, US/Champion, UK) in 1988. In 1989 he released the innovative "Cant Take It," coining the phrase Ragga House (Capitol records), which lead the way for further experiments in house. Subsequent house hits were "The Rhythm Of Life" (Level 10 & Underground Solution) 1983/2002, "It's On" with Scott Wozniak (Innervibe Music) 2003, "Living On The Frontline" (West Side Records) 2003, and "Africa In Your Veins" (Waking Monster) 2005. He has worked with producers such as Marshall Jefferson, Joe T. Vannelli, Victor Simonelli, Tony Humphries, Justin Strauss, Lenny Fontana, Eric Kupper, Scott Wozniak, David Vendetta, Booker T, Dj Romain and Matthias Heilbronn. Keith has performed in all the major clubs in NYC from the the Sound Factory to Studio 54 and has toured Japan twice and regularly performs in Europe with a new tour forthcoming including Brazil, South Africa and Europe. The anthemic Break 4 Love which has been getting remix treatments almost every two years is finally getting a full rework which has been released on Monster Bang and is rising to success with another generation in 2006. Current releases: "Break 4 Love 2006" with mixes by David Vendetta, DJ Romain, Moussa Clarke, and Booker T. It has been featured on Roger Sanchez' Release Yourself vol.5, was # 1 on Nocturnal Magazine Top 50, will be featured on MixMag's Oct. '06 covermounted CD as one of the hot records of the year.
