Kill the zodiac is a post-rock band from Hamilton, New Zealand, headed by 16-year-old multi-instrumentalist Adam Fulton.
Kill the zodiac was formed in 2005 by Adam Fulton, enlisting the help of Bevan Galbraith on bass guitar and drums, and William Shaw on bass guitar for live performance. The various activities of the project have culminated in the release of an EP Kill the Zodiac in October 2006.
The music of Kill the zodiac has mainly been produced for use in films, but has manifested in a musical project in its own right.
Kill the zodiac presents a stripped down post-rock sound of almost exclusively guitar timbres, comparable to the approach of Melbourne post-rock bands Because of Ghosts and This Is Your Captain Speaking.
