K’JUNGA
K’JUNGA means “energetic metal with pop hooks”.
K’junga are a collection of four working class oiks from Portsmouth. Lead by the flamboyant frontman Scott Dugan, they are set to drum the current crop of sleep inducing metal mongers out of town with their hard driven riffs and jumped up live performances.
K’junga was formed in 2002 by four College friends determined to rock. Early this year news of their explosive live shows had travelled up to London and The Animal Farm, a production team with releases on hardcore legends Victory Records as well as DefJam/Universal, SonyBMG, and Spokes/WEA, picked up on this.
The result, the “Worlds Apart” EP, features three relentless tracks that combine intense rifforama with strong melodies and heartfelt lyrics.
