KORNERSTONE BIG BROTHER ISN'T WATCHING ANYMORE 1984: A group of strangers gathered to play music with one sound, one idea and one goal. 1986: The self-titled debut album "KORNERSTONE" is released to a regional market. With limited airplay it sold enough to be cosidered a success. 1987: After touring and other publicity events, ego's and outside pressures broke up the band. 1989: Still on tour, recording under the name "the J.D Rebel band" most of the band remained intact 1995: Getting together again to record the second album "I TOLD YOU SO" was a mistake, even according to the band. 2003: We tried, we recorded, we failed, the album "RUSTY COATHANGER", a heavier, deeper recording was met with a groan. 2004: 20 years later the original members show up unannounced and play a series of shows on long island. also giving away copies of the "20 years of a misspent youth" cd. 2005: Here we go again. In 1984 six strangers tried to change the sound of music........ In 2005 five friends will try again......REVIVAL .............
