Larry Zarella is originally from Cape Cod Massachusetts. He is a singer/songwriter whose music is a perfect combination of heartfelt sincerity and fun. His voice is both powerful and magical, his guitar style is unorthodox, rythmic and completely his own.
Larry spent most of the 90's touring Alaska with his band the Denali Cooks. As a solo artist, he has opened for national acts such as Janis Ian, Chris Smither and Susan Werner.
He was the recent finalist in the Eddie's Attic semi-annual open-mic shoot-out. His song 'Heart Wins Again' was chosen as the November finalist in the worldwide song writing contest 'Song Of The Year'
Larry's main directive is to use his music to help others. He is actively involved in raising funds and awareness for causes in need. Larry enjoys singing for children and is always a big hit when he plays at schools. His music has been described as heartbreakingly beautiful, clever as well as laugh-out-loud funny. Larry is currently working on his fifth CD. |
