Life has been slightly different, the path slightly altered for Lazyeye since the Winter of 2004.
In case you have forgotten, Lazyeye was the first Unsigned Act ever to be featured on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno performing a rock re-mix they created for the single Get Back by mega-superstar Ludacris. (12-13-2004) They followed that up the next night with another Nationally Televised Performance on the 1st Annual Spike TV Video Game Awards ; sharing the stage that night with the likes of Motley Crue, Green Day, Snoop Dogg, Busta Rhymes, Sum41, and more
Lazyeye signed with Disturbing Tha Peace in March of 2005 and spent the better part of the next year writing new and better music. The song Blood In The Air was selected for inclusion on the now RIAA Certified Gold album Ludacris Presents : Disturbing Tha Peace. In between that time Lazyeye played a sold out show at Georgia Techs Alexander Memorial Coliseum, had a song featured in a major Motion Picture (The Rock re-mix of Get Back was used in 2005s The Longest Yard), started recording a new full length album, and honed the absolute best stage show around.
Recently the biggest addition to the group has come in adding the services of world renowned percussionist, and 21-year-old phenom, Tony Royster Jr. behind the drums. Make sure to catch Lazyeye live to see just exactly what he brings to the table its an entirely new ballgame now!
As of April, Lazyeye and DTP had decided to amicably part ways. Lazyeye has since thrown themselves one hundred percent into putting out a full length album.
Lazyeye is currently in studio with producer Billy Hume and you should expect to see the new album by the end of Summer, 2006!
