I knew that you along with many others taking
the time would see what they’ve been missing
all this time. Remember those days? They
were days of heavenly musical feasts and
explosions! It was almost impossible to keep
up and there were MAJOR artists on the scene.
I did a study on it myself and was
overwhelmed by the amount of things going on.
They were exciting, life changing times and
even though Lee Michaels had a number one hit
with “Do You Know What I Mean”, it was not
unusual at all that he be lost in the
shuffle. Along with those facts I became
more aware that Lee wasn’t a showboat either.
Just like anyone with anything real to
offer, his or her work speaks for itself.
And just like everyone else these folks had a
life and got on with it. I can’t think of
anyone more deserving of recognition after
all these years for his accomplishments and
contributions in the days rock was young.
People who actually know him and those that
are real fans know these things and it’s
great fun for one of them to share and hear
the amazement from those newly discovering
