Singer/Songwriter Lee was born in Durban, South Africa.
He sang in Rock band Saint Legend from 1991 to 1994 enjoying three relatively successful years gigging up and down his home country. The band supported international rock bands Indecent Obsession and Foreigner; received a fair amount of radio play and recorded an album which unfortunatley was never released due to the band breaking up.
He emigrated to the UK a short time after and busied himself playing in cover bands until he hooked up with original band Minifish who decided to take him on as their singer. The band played gigs at the Rock Garden, Underworld, the Mean Fiddler, and The Orange to name a few before Lee was poached by a German record producer.
Silbersack Recordings based in Halle, Saale signed Lee to a solo deal towards the end of the nineties. With the help of old bandmate Steve Fricker from Minifish he managed to pull together a few original tunes for the recording. The album was produced by Mathias Schroeter, recorded with local musicians and completed over a few months. Lee's vocals were recorded over 4 days. Unfortunately fate once again played it's hand and due to the lack of a distribution deal the album fell through with the company going into liquidation shortly after.
Since then Lee has continued his songwriting and playing live. He currently sings in function band The GnT Experiment and does Solo gigs. The band recently appeared in the BBC production "The Line of Beauty" aired on the 24th May 2006.
He recently signed a 3 year, 2 album recording deal with Rich Mr Sax Records and released an EP and video in April 2007.
