Lil' Romeo was born Percy Romeo Miller, III in New Orleans, Louisiana to Percy Romeo Miller, II (Master P) and Sonja Miller on August 19, 1989. From the day he was born-rapping was in his bones. He performed on a series of his father's albums, but his father never knew he had a "real talent". He wrote his own raps and started creating beats for them at the age of four. While Master P was on tour, Romeo had performed the raps he wrote for his uncles, C-Murder (b. Corey Miller) and Silkk the Shocker (b. Vyshonne Miller) and they were impressed that this little five year old could flow. When Master P got back, Romeo performed his rap for him and thats when it all started. Romeo used to rap with his cousins and they spent most of their time in his father's studio. When Romeo was about 8 or 9 he was in a car accident that killed his cousin Lance. He looked up to Lance and later dedicated a song to him on his first album "Lil' Romeo" named "Take My Pain Away". Lil' Romeo released his first album (self-titled) "Lil' Romeo" on July 3, 2001. The hit "My Baby" reached # 1 on the Top 100 for ten consecutive weeks. "My Baby", which had the tune of Michael Jackson's song "I Want You Back" stayed #1 longer than Michael Jackson's "Ben". Lil' Romeo received 3 awards for "My Baby", Rap Artist of the Year-2001 Billboard Music Awards, Rap Single of the Year-B2001 Billboard Music Awards, R&B/Hip Hop Singles Sales Award-2002 Billboard Music Awards, and he also received Nickelodeon's Kid's Choice Award in 2002. "We Can Make it Right" (a song on his second album) was about September 11. On September 11, Lil' Romeo was two blocks away from the World Trade Center for a photo shoot when the attacks happened. This is what inspired Romeo to write the song. Lil' Romeo's sophomore album "Game Time" was released on December 17, 2002. The hit "True Love" featuring Solange (Beyoncé's little sister.) Lil' Romeo has acted in the following movies "Max Keeble's Big Move"(2000), "Honey"(2003), and upcoming, "Uncle P" (2004), "Still 'Bout It" (2004), and "Shorty" (2004). Two of these movies featuring him and his father. His own t.v. series Romeo! started in 2003, and comes on Nickelodeon. Lil' Romeo still manages to get straight A's at the St. Luke's Episcopal School (Baton Rouge, Louisiana). Lil' Romeo has his own house in Houston, Texas. He has two cars, a Hummer and Mercedes-Benz. He also resides in Beverly Hills, California, and New Orleans, Louisiana. He is estimated to be worth $60 million, and his father Master P to be worth over $ 400 million! WOW! Lil' Romeo has his own clothing line P. Miller Shorties and his father Master P, has one titled P. Miller Signature Collection. Both clothing lines include velour warm-up sets, polos, active wear, shoes, and jeans. Master P has his own recording label "Limit Records" formerly changed to "The New No Limit Records". Lil' Romeo has 2 brothers, Vercy and Hercey, and three sisters, Itali, Tytyana, and Intylyana. Lil' Romeo can play basketball really well. Steve Francis and Stephon Marbury saw him at the Michael Jordan Basketball Camp and said he has "some major ball handling skills". As you know, his father, Master P made the pre-seasons teams for the Charlotte Hornets and Toronto Raptors. Unfortunately he never played a full season. Lil' Romeo and Master P's house was featured on MTV Cribs. What more could this mini not if real entrepreneur do next? Well, he dreams to be in the NBA and own a business. Lil' Romeo is the youngest solo artist ever and youngest solo artist to have a single ("My Baby") to stay at #1 for 10 weeks.
