dwayne carter was born on sept.22,1983.growing up he was the only child his mother and father ever had. so with that in mind, weezy ran around the mean streets of hollygrove,magnolia-17th ward.at the age of age while rapping in a session for brian williams(baby)wayne was spitting his verse in his right hand and had the gun in his left hand, trying to showoff, when the gun accidently went off and caught him above his chest. by the time he recovered cash-money were ready to do their thing with a couple of guys named juve, bg, and turk. because wayne was the youngest, he had to wait his turn because juve was promoting his album which was getting mad feedback from fans.so when he finally got his turn,all hell broke loose when people saw a 16 year old on tv with braids and mouth full of golds. but when the block is hot album dropped they never forgot his face again.17 hot tracks all produced by manny fresh.tha block is hot sold 250,000 copies it's first week on the charts. but before the fame came the lost of his father Rabbi Carter, who was shot in a liquor store for money(r.i.p).wayne quickly went platnum and went on to sell almost 2.3 millions copies. not bad for a 16 year old. his second album lights out was repeated fire with 19 blazing tracks but wasn't as successful because he didn't get enough exposure.500 degreez dropped and it was a older and more wiser look for lil wayne, and that album he went platnum again.with the hotboys gone the whole show was for lil wayne. they went back and fourth dissing but reconciled and went they're seperate ways. wayne did his own thing for a while and had his own thing named young-money and squad-up(his rappers).they went for nearly 3 years rapping music off other artists beats which caught alot of ears and making wayne better than ever showing off his freestyle skills. but they soon departed and wayne dropped the'carter last july 18,2004. he's having good success with that and has already reached platnum status including the bootleggers.he is currently coming out with mixtapes and keeping it real. he broke up with his baby-mama cita, and is married to nivea. do your thing lil wayne. none of your so called fans can write a bio like this.
