| Lithurgy are a metal band based in Brighton. After constant lineup changes the band settled on the current lineup in April 2005. Guillaume Croizon came over from France to study and met the band in autumn 2004 when the lineup included a third guitar and a different vocalist. Woz, previously also on guitar, took up bass instead and Tom Humphrey took over position of vocalist. Gazz continued to play guitar and bought a fat effects pedal to contribute the crazy sounds heard on some of the trax. This lineup went straight to the studio in June 2005 to record two songs from their already increasing repertoire. This recording was totally self produced with no previous experience of recording. Now in 2006 the band are currently mixing their new EP (untitled at present) and working on a website, with plans for a tour during the summer.
