Straight out of the beautiful hills and hollers of the scenic southern Missouri Ozarks come dynamic
and distinctive vocal harmonies soothing your soul like a cool mountain stream on a scorching
summer day!
Longtime musicians, Gerald Chism and Dennis McBride, on a chance encounter met up with San
Francisco native, Bobby DeWitt on a street jam in Ozark, Missouri, in August of 2005. The music
flowed together effortlessly as if this meeting was "Meant To Be." The trio played a few local gigs,
then in December 2005, Laura Bastedo (from upstate New York), was brought into the fold to provide
percussion, flute and the female vocal flavor to the group. The group headed to the recording studio in
January, 2006, just three short months after forming, and Loose Ends was born!
"We love all kinds of music and we write, arrange, produce, and record our own music and put it out
there on the streets for you!!"
"If you like our music, pass our info on to ALL your friends! Music is our goal, our passion, and our
life, and we strive to bring as much good music to you as we possibly can."
Think of The Ozark Mountain Daredevils combined with The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band and Rascal Flatts, all mixed into a giant bucket and sprinkled over with a dash of sexy Alison Krauss sweetness... plug that into a 220-volt electrical outlet.........and try stuffin' that in a 10- pound bag!!!
