This band has seen many different changes though time but we are here to bring you the music from our hearts. Our sound is what Kenny Rogers would sound like, right after snorting a pound of Nes-quick, or if 1,000 angels milked four cows with there mouth while tap dancing to Miles Davis. We understand that in Colorado Springs, many of the bands are hardcore or screamo, but we are the sore thumb in the trend. It's not that we like that style of music because we do show a little bit of that style in our pieces, but are into the edgy, yet catchy harmonizing guitars, the sound of the drums beating along-side your heart, having enough bass to make your ears bleed, all incorporated with a vocalist that sounds like a choir of a thousand angels singing "All The Small Things" from Blink 182!
Hope you enjoy it!

History:
Over a decade ago, eight years in the future, Davey and Eddie decided that music was what was hot on the streets. They enlisted Josue and Zak to play drums and bass with us. Known as Sticky Package, we were labled as a cover band. Loosing Zak to herpes and the name to a columbian homophobe, now known as cart derby, we got Furious C (Chaka ) to play bass and Nate to sing at our very first show. rocking it with Can't Stand the Fall, it was a Talent show at Sierra High. Chaka left shortly after to persue a career in professional mopping and Nate shaved his head, and joined a heaveier band. We picked up John from the back of a go-gurt bottle and once again were a whole. Under the name Left in the Embers we came to rock. Finally writing our own songs and getting Peeko (Leo ) to sing for us we were much stronger than before. We played our second show at Gary Beary Stadium with Lear 43 for a benifit. Sucking it up and seeing how real musicians played opened our eyes. Our next show would be spirit day at Sierra (May 6th). That would be the best show we could hope. We Rocked the stage with The Lance Uppercut, Josh Moghnohan, and a few others. That summer things looked bleak for the band. We Relieved John of his duties. The band took a break. Josue left for bigger things and Earl in Can't Stand the fall died from anus exhaustion. Peeko was needed else were with his angel pipes. After a long summer Davey and Eddie regrouped and began to write in a completely different way. A name change was nessesary to accompany the new sound. A Day Lost in Motion was the new name. Improving there sound they were still incomplete. We still needed a drummer and bass player. By fate one of our prayers were answered in Septemeber when Bass player Bobbie moved here from NJ. It was fate that he found me online. Bobbie fit in perfect, he was just what we needed. A new fresh sound. Taking the Advice of Peeko we dropped the begining and left the end. Lost in Motion was going to be our new name. We began to play shows at the youth center with Remington Steel Filling in on drums and doing an amazing job. PLaying shows with My Autumn, The Lance Uppercut, As Told By, Beneath the Sand, and Beginings End, we could see a bright future. Hanging out with our friend David, we found the last piece to the puzzle, and his name was Steve. Our drummer is one of a kind, he is great at every instrument and has the voice of an angel.
Part II...
Bobby's heart was in Ohio so he left us. A truely sad day. We didn't know what to do, but then it struck us. BAM!!! Sean (Steves brother) Is a bass player that was open. We hoped and prayed and got our wish. Sean was the new bass player for L.I.M.. One thing was missing. We needed a singer with an angelic tone in their voice and could work the crowd the way we like. Daniel jumped in and took that spot as if he were born for it. Now we are a whole and are going to do the best we can to make sure you leave the show without your socks. We are Lost in Motion and we are ready to pick up the soap. |
