Lynda Jean Sayyah is a bilingual pop singer of Arab and German ancestry. Growing up in the small Indiana suburb of Fishers, Lynda dreamed of being a pop sensation. Unfortunately for the headstrong singer, her desire to sing was in direct conflict with many of the cultural norms of the house in which she was raised. Despite the ideologies of her family, Lynda was able to gather enough strength to ignore family around her and pursue her dream.
Lynda’s inability to actively pursue her career within her parents’ household motivated her to move out and forge ahead undaunted. In the last year she has hit the local music scene like a Texas Twister, recording her debut CD and putting together a band so as to rock the local venues with her original songs as well as covers ranging from Heart, AC/DC and Audioslave to Mariah, Beyonce and Madonna. Her songs, all of which Lynda co-wrote and co-produced, sublimely and effortlessly fuse pop, rock and R&B with her out-of-the-stratosphere vocal abilities. Furthermore, the lyrics reflect Lynda's own struggles and exude an empathy that captivates her listeners. With the glamorous looks of a runway model and a stage presence beyond her years, this vocal prodigy stands poised on the brink of superstardom
