This artist was born in Farragut projects and raised in the Bed-Stuy section of Brooklyn where he picked up his skills as a rapper. Lywan started rhyming at the age of 9 and has been in love with hip hop ever since. Growing up he was inspired by the likes of Rakim, Big Daddy Kane, KRS-One and Run DMC. He has remained consistent with his gift of Lyrical Artistry because he is constantly in the studio working. Lywan, better known as Ly to his friends, enjoys rhyming about real life situations and his life experiences. These attributes are what make his rhymes real and true to life.
