| M. Ryan Taylor writes music for children, choirs, brass ensembles, opera companies and for himself. He has a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance and a Master of Music in Composition. Both degrees were earned at BYU. Taylor has performed in thousands of choral, band, orchestral, operatic and music theatre productions. His opera, "Abinadi," was performed by BYU opera in 2003 (he played the role of King Noah in one of the casts). The opera was taped and has been broadcast on BYUTV (satelite station) many times.
