Mando Diao is a rock´n roll band from Sweden that were formed in 1995 by Björn Dixgård ( leadsong and guitar ) and Daniel Haglund on organ and a bunch of no ones.
In college Björn met Gustaf Nore'n and Fredrik Nilsson and both of them joined the band along with Anton Grahnström and the bunch of no ones were kicked out. The band started rehearsing. Then suddenly Fredrik and Anton left the band and Samuel Giers ( drummer ) and C-J Fogelklou ( bassguitarist ) joined instead.
In 1999 they performed for the first time
and now they have one album called " Bring ´em in " that was released in 2002. The album includes the hits " Sheepdog " and " the band ". The name Mando Diao isn´t common and the name for the band was decided when Björn had a dream about an angel that said Mando Diao.
So the current members in the band are:
Gustaf Nore'n - rythm guitar, lead vocals
Björn Dixgård- lead guitar, lead vocals
Daniel Haglund- organ, percussion
Samuel Giers- drums, percussion
Carl- Johan Fogelklou- electric bass
