Mandy Moore was born April 10th 1984 in Nashua, New Hampshire.
Mandy didn't get her start in the music business by attending the Mickey Mouse Club unlike other popstars we know such as Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake.
After being born in New Hampshire she moved to Orlando with her family at an older age.
Mandy realised her passion for singing and acting after attending a musical theatre camp when she was nine years old.
Mandy Started attending gigs and singing "The Star Spangled Banner" at sporting events around Florida, Where she earned herself The nickname "The National Anthem Girl"
Mandy's first time in a recording studio involved doing voiceovers and commercials, but it wasnt long before she snagged a contract with Sony Music.
This happened in 1999, when Mandy was just 15. Later that year, Mandy released her first album, So Real.
She then released her hit single, Candy. She released her second CD I Wanna Be With You in the year 2000.
Which was a combination of all the songs from So Real and five new tracks. In June 2001 Mandy proved that she was more than a flash in the pan Courtesy of New Line.
However Mandy's latest album, Coverage, came out in October 2003. Coverage is a collection of old school cover tunes, Your parents might recognise them!
