MARBLE HAT, GYRO, and BUZZ WOOD's FOLK MUSIC FROM 1969 REMASTERED by:
~ D R E X E R ~
MARBLE HAT with MICHAEL KOSHGARIAN's voice with the proper written musical style of singing by my Dad's instruction to Mike for the correct intent of the proper written form for the finalized vocalizations in these songs, written by my Father, that I've been listening to since I was in my Mother's womb over 35 year's ago. Mike AS VOICE and my Dad, BUZZ WOOD of his written music that is his musical influence by being exposed to the best Folk Music enjoyed by his Parents that met at Juliard's School Of Music and their son, BUZZ WOOD. My Dad's good Folk music, inspired by his Father from his home town in Upstate New York of a huge Folk Music scene in that area of this country, loved by all of the true Folk popularized by musicians all over the Berkshires and Adarondak hills of Upstate New York. With an annual Folk Musician Festival called THE GOTTAGETGONE and his childhood friends, Bob Dylan, Arloe Guthrie and Mel Gibson that have always shared the love of Folk Music in the late 1960's that developed hundreds of year's ago where my Dad grew up with his childhood friends that grew older and became world famous, "CAFE LINA'S" that I have performed at on many occasions as popular as, "ALISON'S RESTAURANT." My Dad, BUZZ WOOD from the popular 1970's Rock And Roll band, "GYRO." As rhythm guitar, vocals with the neck propped harmonica while he plays and the song writer as the Front Man for the band. When this album was recorded, my Father played a perfect first take on every one of these songs while occasionally playing acoustic rhythm, backing vocals and harmonica recorded live together within this Produced album by a professional Audio Engineer at COTTON HILL Recording Studios. The Producer working on my Dad's music fell for it's fantastic Folk sound and volunteered without any care for recognition that was honored to be a part of my Dad's music as a Professional for all music was honored to have parts of the Producer's work added in this recording playing lead guitar, slide guitar, rifts to enhance the sound along with the rhythm guitar. The CHICKEN HOUSE SONG at the end of this album was written by my ancestor that was the first guitarist and composer of the song. Traditionally passed down to their sons and their Grandchildren and have the responsibility for me to pass the song to my children. I inherited a good ear for music from the early development of my childhood that absorbs knowledge ten times faster than an adult that can create that has an ear for good quality sound. So I re-mastered this digitally enhanced final cut of this album that sounds incredibly high in quality and sounds fantastic. I have the knowledge of synthesized digital and technical work that I did that made the sound quality a lot more complete sounding. I also edited out mistakes in the recording and the blank sound between every song that psychologically causes a loss of listener's interest or ruins the feel that the music has to offer that I cropped out to perfect the amount of space between even the slightest sound to complete silence. I'm helping in exposing and promoting my Dad's music that is so phenomenal, the Producer volunteered his musical ability for the recording of these songs with lead guitar, slide guitar, opposite played rhythm to enhance the sound of the rhythm guitar-work for free from his satisfaction to be a part of such fantastic music by my Dad that is considered to be respected by even the best song righters.
GYRO, 1974
I just remastered my Dad's (Buzz Wood) music from an analog tape from the 1970's with the recording on only the left speaker and eliminated a record industry critic on both the left and right speaker's that I overly effected and back-masked his voice on my Dad's old band, GYRO. I remastered it to both stereo with two stereo expanders, denoiser to eliminate background noise and new equalization with fade in, fade out or cropped endings to absolute zero from an old analog tape through my walkman hooked up through my USB Audio Interface and on to my Audio Engineering program on my computer.
BUZZ WOOD's FOLK
From upstate New York that Buzz recorded onto analog tape to my Mother when they first fell in love in 1969 that I remastered.
