| Electric Sitar presents the greatest Brazilian sitarist and a Ravi Shankar disciple. In this new album Marsiano presents a blend of musical influences from different parts of the world and poetical interventions in Hindi, Japanese and Spanish, all combined with his magic sitar. The CD was produced by Edson X with the participation of Ulisses Rocha, CaÃto Marcondes, Ratnabali, Michel Freidenson and Corciolli, among others. Marciano tried to set forth all the range of musical possibilities allowed by the sitar, with a bit of Brazilian music and electronic sounds. Since 1985, Marsiano has been developing this fascinating blend of Indian and electronic music – which has led him to be invited to take part in raves all over the world. |
