| In late 2000, lifelong singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Miles Curtiss, just got sick of his band mates. So he struck out to seek obscurity and poverty on his own. Curtiss has since been seen frantically circling the Midwest. Spreading his quirky and astonishing pop songs like smallpox in the Sudan. Marvin The Robot has made a name for himself through stunning stage performances and captivating recordings. Couple that with four years of being a superstar Music Director at WCKS, his alma mater's student radio station, a countless barrage of neato zines, his early stabs at pod casting and other technological innovations, game shows, community/arts activism, and his bizarro contributions to children's television, and it's easy to see how Marvin The Robot has had the career most other musicians would kill for.
In this time Marvin The Robot has shared stages with Unwed Sailor, The Microphones, This Moment In Black History, Neil Hagerty, Immortal Technique, 16 Bitch Pile-Up, The Flotation Walls, The Lucksmiths, and Whirlwind Heat.
Though Curtiss traditionally writes, records, and performs alone, he does manage to collaborate with an assortment of musical masterminds, including members of Still Remains, Teddy Lee, Wicked Lung & Wookalar, and most recently, the amazing Dr. Rob Job.
