Master P
Rap genius and entrepeneur Master P was born Percy Romeo Miller, Jr. in New Orleans, Louisiana on April 29, 1969. He was raised in the 3rd ward of Calliope Projects. Master P is the oldest of five children: Corey (C-Murder, b. 1977), Kevin, Germany, and Vyshonne (Silkk the Shocker, b. 1980). His parents divorced while he was young and Percy decided to live with his father in Louisiana and his mother moved to Richmond, California. Percy recieved $10,000 in a malpractice suit and started a recording label called "No Limit Records". Percy was the basketball star of his high school and running for "king" of the school and Sonja was a cheerleader and running for "queen" of the school. The soon to be husband and wife had hard times and money was short for the couple. They once lived in the back of a store with their first child and son Lil' Romeo (Percy Romeo Miller, III); who was born on August 19, 1989. Percy's brothers Coery and Vyshonne followed in his footsteps and soon became rappers under the names C-Murder and Silkk the Shocker. Percy's was Master P. Master P has released nine albums: "99 ways to die" (06.06.95), "Ice Cream Man" (04.16.96), "Ghetto D" (09.02.97), "The Ghetto's Tryin' to Kill Me" (11.04.97), "MP Da Last Don" (06.02.98), "Only God Can Judge Me" (10.26.99), "Ghetto Postage" (11.28.00), "Game Face" (12.18.01), and "Good Side/Bad Side" (03.23.04). Master P has acted in the following movies: "Weird Weekends" (1997), "I'm bout it" (1997), "The Player's Club" (1998), "I Got the Hook Up" (1998), MP Da Last Don (1998), "Foolish" (1999), "Hot Boyz" (1999), "Takedown" (2000), "Gone in Sixty Seconds" (2000), "Lockdown" (2000), "911" (2000), "Popcorn Shrimp" (2001), "Undisputed" (2002), "Dark Blue" (2002), "Hollywood Homicide" (2003), "More Mercy" (2003), and "Uncle P" (2004). He has acted in serveral t.v. series, one of lots is "Romeo!" (2003) with his son, Lil' Romeo. He has directed "Hot Boyz", "MP Da Last Don", "No Tomorrow", and "I'm Bout it". He appeared on "Pootie Tang", "Static Shock", "I Got the Hook Up" and "Scream 2" soundtracks. He wrote "Hot Boyz", "Foolish", "Da Came of Life", and "I'm Bout It". He produced "Lockdown", "Foolish", "Da Game of Life", "No Tomorrow", "I Got the Hook Up", and "I'm Bout it". Master P resides in Beverly Hills, California, New Orleans, Louisiana, and Houston, Texas. He has his own clothing line "P. Miller" and recording label "No Limit" which has been changed to "The New No Limit Records". Also his son Lil' Romeo has his own clothing line "P. Miller Shorties"; both clothing lines consits of velour warm-up sets, polos, active wear, shoes, and jeans. Master P also made the pre-season teams for the Charlotte Hornetts and Toronto Raptors, unfortunatly he never played a full season with either team. Lil' Romeo also has some major ball hanling skills and dreams to be in the NBA. Master P has been married to his wife Sonja since 1990 and they had six children, 3 boys, Percy, III (LIl' Romeo; the oldest of all), Vercy, and Hercey, and 3 girls, Itali, Tytyana, and Intylyana.
