my name is matthew ross. i live in st. louis. i listen to music. but not crappy music. i write music. it makes me feel better. i play music. might as well since i wrote it. i get bored easy. MYSPACE is for cool kids. life is tough. i work too much. i don’t just want to play music. i want to define it. through my bro-in-law i was able to meet butch walker when i was 11. i asked him to read some of my work. butch read it and told me to keep it up and never stop writing and rocking. i took that to heart. i've been in a few bands: pyro, sure is swell, jack and the streetside affair and the hospital life. but right now, i'm just out there doing my thing. and if you like what you hear then tell your friends about me, or message me and let me know what you're thinking, or just download a song and play it over a mass communication device such as on you're school's morning announcements or a pirate radio station of some sort and let me know how it goes.
