| Megadeth are a great thrash band. I've been to several of their concerts. The first one I went to was when I was in 7th grade. It was right after the release of So Far, So Good...So What! Though Dave was strung out on crack, the concert was still pretty good. The next one I went to was after on the Countdown to Extinction tour. They sounded much better than. The last one I went to was when they were doing that pop metal crap back in '97. The sound was great, but they were flaunting their radio friendly shit around and I didn't like it. Just because a song has a person's
political views in it and it involves death
doesn't make it a death metal song. Most
death metal songs are tuned down to D, have
lots and lots of driving riffs, are faster
than normal, and have low, growly vocals.

when Scream Bloody Gore, an album by Death,

death metal and Christian death metal are two
different things. Death metal is about pure
death. Christian death metal is death metal

Megadeth were much more creative and never

Megadeth always wrote better songs than
Metallica. That is true to this day. I liked
St. Anger, but The System has Failed is much
easier to listen to. Dave Mustaine is one of

MEGADETH ROCKS. Dave is a god on that guitar.
They have some of the best music ever, and
I'll always rock Megadeth - I don't
care how old I get. And if ppl don't like
it - well that's why they invented ear

Just gotta say, I'm a lifelong Megadeth
fan and they continue to kick ass no matter
who's in the group, but Dave Mustaine is
both the biggest genious and the biggest
jerk-off in the history of metal. He made
some of the best metal there ever will be,
but he's too goddamn arrogant and
self-serving for me to call him a true metal
god. That said, I'll still pay to see
them every time they come to town (even if
they play for only 45 minutes like last
