Michelle & Christina Hernandez, Puerto Rican twins aka Las Twines, have been singing since the age of five. Theyre first singing experience was at their church in Chicago and to their parents surprise they received a standing ovation. From then on they knew that singing is what they were meant to do.
At the age of ten they had an opportunity to do their first television appearance on channel 38 in Chicago and have been performing throughout their adolescent years.
Michelle & Christina have not taken their gifting for granted but have nurtured it by perfecting their craft through taking three years of vocal training and choreography training. These ladies presently keep striving to grow in their gift. Recently theyve also been featured in commercials for JP Morgan and a Doublemint Twin campaign.
Currently Michelle & Christina are working on their new album "The Low Down". The awesome story behind these talented girls is embedded in the fact that two beautiful Latina twins from Chicago could have easily sold out by writing, singing and entertaining, non-original concepts with lack of integrity like most young R&B Mainstream Artist today promoting drunkenness, orgies, and male-bashing. Instead the girls entrusted themselves in God and the right person appeared introducing Las Twines to the phrase Big Herb Middleton originally coined as "Bridge Music".
Herb Middleton, a talented and seasoned music industry veteran and cutting edge production innovator, has helped to shape the musical careers of such industry giants as - Usher, Mary J. Blige, Faith, Kelly Price, Method Man, Kenny Latimore, NAS, Will Smith, Al Green and Ann Nesby and so many others. With such noted songs as Mary J. Bliges Never Wanna Live Without You and You Gotta Believe and his Grammy nominated Put It On Paper by Al Green and Ann Nesby. The artists to jumpstart this genre are the soulful Jeff Murrell and Latin pop twins Michelle & Christina. |
