concieved in 1997 and born in 2001, microdahts began as a side project between like-minded friends with various influences and skills. as their respective bands eventually came to their demise, the microdahts project became the main focus. performing with artists such as cee-lo green, long beach short bus (former members of sublime and long beach dub all-stars), mile8 and more, members b spaz (production, guitar, keys, turntablism) silly ill (production, drums, bass, turntablism), critty (dj, turntablism, laptop, production) e.rockimus(vocals, samplers, keys, percussion, turtablism, production) and knoxvil (vocals, theatrics) are constantly progressing. every show is something different combining elements of house, jungle, hip hop, breakbeats, funk and more in a live band performing unclassifiable shake your ass music with many improv elements and also performing hip-hop and jungle dj sets with 4 djs and 2 emcees. with the upcoming release of their new full length lp "focused" along with a brand new remix album "microtronic" and many exciting tour plans for spring and summer, microdahts are pushing forward with a positive force and gettin love all over the east. check out microdahts on myspace to download the pre-release version of "focused" free of charge.
