Grew up in a village near Jinja in Uganda . M.K.D was first introduced to music early in his life. Listening to Michael Jackson showed him what music was capable of doing. After the tragic accident which took his father's life, at ten years old M.K.D was brought to the Netherlands to start a new life. Living in a adoption family made M.K.D look at the world Different. Being in the centre of the coloured world he started thinking about life and its meanings. And so starting to build an interest in science and philosophy. While Drawing and designing was his hobby, He slowly got in touch with writing rhymes and start writing about his life and adding his yet founded knowledge about life. Later on together with a Good friend the knowledge about philosophy, science and art begun to grow faster. And eventually chose to be a rapper. And so taking on the challenge of translating the words of philosophy into rap songs that would reach the rest of the non reading world.

Starting his Rap carrier M.K.D chose to open a website the will help him with publishing his music as well as other who are also starting of there music carrier. Enter STREETHOUSE Recordz. The website www.streethouse.nl. Which brought him in contact with many other artiest on the streets. And slowly introduced him to the reality of Professional rap music.
And it also contributed to the release of his first single “Who Em I” also included on this website. Together With the singer 9+2. which at this times was also a member of STREETHOUSE Recordz. With the single came also the first video clip Who Em I . Recorded and produced by M.K.D & 9+2. Further plans where to make STREETHOUSE Recordz first Album. But eventually ended up as an mix tape produced by 2 artists. “What's Up” (mix tape) the first true CD that would bring M.K.D on stage. Through out the whole Nederland M.K.D Performed onstage.
While it was getting more difficult to evolve STREETHOUSE member in every event M.K.D chose to start his solo carrier to speed up the process. Enter www.mkd-era.com
From here on M.K.D's plans are to produce as much work as possible. And Creating as much STREETHOUSE / M.K.D events as possible. Coming with “Last Time” the First Solo CD Written and produced by M.K.D. next may follow, “Lets Do It”, “Comin In (mix tape)”, “Questions” and to complete 2006 a full album “Man On A Mission”.
